This is really tragic.. my condolences to his family.So that other hill bombers might learn from this, can we know if this was a head-on collision or some other type of accident? If head-on, were either the car or the skater on the wrong side of the DY?

I have only been to a few races in the last few years and have not had the passion or time to just ride. Bro. if you are near San degio and we can work together with time, I am In ! Almost healed from a crash a few months ago and a freind pointed out to me that maybe the reason I keep coming off my board is that I am not riding egough.

Almost forgot my passwod,ha ! I am so very trilled to see so many new young riders getting out there and killing it on hill fast and very safe with all there new styles. Just love the new drifting and may never be able to pull that one but would like to. OK now for this site : Needs some heavy pictures on the front page, change it up if you even care about this. Show some sick ass footage, come on pepole show and tell time. Post up on Facebook and get the stand-up riders wanting tO post up here again. It is sad to me to loose such a huge part of this sport because of lack of effort or no effort to grow with us. Started sat. am with dark skys and heavy rain. Rob Mckendry and myself showed up to start trying to some what make the road safe. There was debris all over the road, the rain became light a few times but heavy for the most part. 10 am passed, 11 am 12 noon. I told Rob that I did not think everyone was coming. Around 12:30 this young kid showed up got out of his car, walked over to Rob & myself only a tree when 2 more cars pulled in. With in one hour there where around 15 kids there not knowing why and starting to get wet, they where for the most part just had hoodies on and jeans. And then these Go Carts with out motors with cool designed farings showed up so I made a run with one of them. Next thing I knew there where 20 young men bombing the hill in the rain having a blast. We got home just in time to watch the 1st nascar race of the year. Sunday Rob and I got there early, Rob worked to sweep what he could in the cat tracks.Its was early am and I took my truck to the bottom, turned it around and it was loaded with riders ready to go. They must have made 6 or so runs on a drying out road. The race started from the top with a dry road and stayed dry the rest on the day with beutifull clouds over head. 32 riders raced to 10 anniversy of Barret Juction racing. Barret is at the end of its days. The last set of storms messed the road up. Dirt everywhere and it will be raining race day as well at docs conner the road is starting to wash out. Two or three more big storms and we will never get to ride her again. So if you never road her this may very well be you last chance and anyone coming bring lots of brooms and shovels, they will be needed.

[b:1f3y8rtf]Press Release- January 27, 2010DrNo RacingMadison County Gravity Festival-[/b:1f3y8rtf]As most of you know Madison County Gravity Fest ran for seven (7) consecutive years beginning in 2002 on Rocks Road and in 2003 moved to East Hill Road in Munnsville where it remained until 2008. In planning for the 2009 event it was decided that the event would have to be postponed due to issues with the road along with several other issues including the economy.East Hill Road had for years suffered from problems and the community felt it was time to deal with those issues, the work was planned and then began in the Spring/Summer of 2009. Those issues were significant requiring large amounts of work to be done and progress has continued in stages. The construction on East Hill Road is slated to be completed sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2010 leaving the Madison County Gravity Fest Committee no option but postpone the return of Gravity Fest until 2011.Rest assured racers that there is work being done in anticipation of the return of Madison County Gravity Fest for 2011, this event is not ready to call it quits. There was communication about selecting a different road but it would not be the same and the committee decided for it to remain on East Hill Road.This event is not a DrNo Racing event it belongs to the people of Madison County and they ask that you, the racers be supportive as they deal with these community issues. The end result is when the event comes back in 2011 you will be racing on a NEW road with an excellent surface for racing.
